Stacey Allaster is globally recognised sport and entertainment leader, a passionate champion for equality, and a pioneering innovator in the sport of tennis.
Stacey Allaster is currently the Chief Executive of Professional Tennis at the USTA, where she previously served as the first woman US Open Tournament Director, setting the strategic vision for the iconic international sports and entertainment event. Before the USTA, she led the WTA Tour as Chairman and CEO, doubling player compensation and tournament franchise values while expanding women’s tennis globally, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. A dedicated advocate for gender equality, Allaster was awarded the Order of Canada, the highest civilian honor in her home country, for her trailblazing work for gender equality and industry leadership. She remains a tireless advocate of using the power of sport to change kid’s lives, advance diverse leadership, and drive lasting equity in the sports world.
After 38 years in the industry, Stacey is preparing to hang up her full-time racquet and begin building a new legacy centered on fun, freedom and impact. She plans to continue to inspire future generations by using sport to improve the lives of girl’s as chair-elect for the Women’s Sports Foundation and as a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee. Additionally, she remains dedicated to lifting up the next generation of diverse leaders to the C-suite and driving lasting equity within the sports and entertainment industry.
